Problem of the 21st Century
When it comes to the music, as I see the music is built with the notes and notes are actually only certain frequencies and yes it means electronics can be a new era something working great with the acoustic or not. The main problem is musicians are not spending enough time with the fundamentals of the music and creating some loops or having synthesizers all over the tracks are actually lacking the "music" in them. I'm definitely not saying using complex harmony would make the recordings and performances have lots of music in them but learning music first of all would open a new gate in this digital era. And using the same tools as what has been the music making will improve the platform of the use of the electronics.
The music making process is almost one of the hardest series of works in Life. From composing to performing and recording require different kind of lessons and the person who is into music needs time to internalize all those different aspect of the music making. Doesn't matter if you play rock, classical or jazz music. There are all kinds of layers to understand the type of musics and at the end you come to the point where there is no boundaries between the genres.
But if we talk about the music which we will need the fundamentals at first, there are tons of information about it. From 1600 to today, or before 1600 to here, we should look at what happened until today. Because if we don't do it, we would be missing a great treasure which we don't actually discover again but look at and learn the value of the music art first, it's already there for everybody.
And yes, I completely understand the modern-human centric daily life doings. People goes to work, many of them don't even like the work they do, then they come home, relax and sleep. Between this order it might hard to learn more about art in general and music art which will also reduce the quality of the music works by the musicians. Because if the audience can't decide what is actually carrying lots of value or not, there will be some short-cutters that would approach the crowd with easy to understand content and the people who are tired of the daily Life things they will pick them up as they will be missing the great and much and much more satisfying art works by actual artists. This would also cut the motivation of the real artists. We all need to motivate them. Because of this dilemma I'm always into explaining the audience the projects as plain as possible to make a connection.
So, the problem is both in the hands of the musicians and audience. When I say the word "problem", I don't want to be understood as a problem finder but pointing a problem is where we all will be having something valuable, a better World.
